James Whaley wasn't only my grandad... He was my best friend, I told him everything. He broke our hearts by leaving us on 26th October 1999, 9 years this October. Not a day goes by without any of us thinking about him. He left behind his loving wife, a daughter, 2 sons, 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters, he also has a precious new grandson that will never be able to see him.
I miss you so much Grandad, I wish you were here with us today, singing 'everybodys talking' to the kettle, taking us fishing with you, 4 of us playing bomberman round a very small screen, trips to the numerous caravans you owned, the chalet in loch monzie, scotland, calling me Peaches and Cream whenever I was upset or sad to cheer me up, singing My Way by Frank Sinatra and believing every word...life hasn't been the same since you've been gone.
